Carl Vander Wilt
Carl E. Vander Wilt is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CenTrust Bank, a nationally charted bank located in Deerfield, Illinois. In 2004, Mr. Vander Wilt was appointed Adjunct Professor of Finance at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University where he developed and taught a new course Financial Institutions and Markets. From 1970 to 2003, Mr. Vander Wilt was at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago where he began as a research economist and advanced through numerous positions of increasing responsibility leading to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the position he held when he left the Federal Reserve Bank in 2003.
Mr. Vander Wilt is a Director of Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin and Chairman of Goodwill Industries of Metropolitan Chicago. He is a Director and Treasurer of the Executives Club of Chicago, a member of the Board of the Chicago College of Performing Arts of Roosevelt University and a member of The Economic Club of Chicago and the Bankers Club of Chicago. He also serves as an Advisory Board member of The Institute for Truth in Accounting and of the Financial Services Center of DePaul University.
Mr. Vander Wilt holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from Iowa State University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
