Our Degree Programs
Preparing for a life in music requires an unwavering desire to perform and perfect one's art. Percussion Performance majors arrive with artistic desire and leave with the skills and knowledge to begin a life in music. Studio lessons and participation in recitals, chamber music, and large ensembles form the nucleus of a performer's training. Additionally percussion majors' experiences are rounded out by the opportunities to work with members of the Jazz percussion department. Led by Chicago Lyric Opera Percussionist Ed Harrison, the Music Conservatory percussion faculty, provide mentorship and direction to our students.
