Five-Year Double Major in Music Education and Classical Music Performance

This program is available to band/orchestral instrumentalists, classical voice, classical piano and classical guitar applicants. It is a five-year selective program for students with oustanding musicianship and strong academics. The program provides a "best of both worlds" curriculum, providing a double major in the amount of time that most schools take to complete only just a music education degree.

This is made possible by CCPA's small class sizes, flate-rate tuition structure, and a sequenced, straightforward approach.

Upon completion of the degree students will be qualified to teach public school band, orchestra, or choir, or apply for graduate programs in either performance or music education.

Applicants who are interested in being considered for this program should apply for Music Education, and indicate interest in the double major on the application. Feel free to contact us with any questions at music@roosevelt.edu.
