The Music Conservatory Faculty

Tage Larsen joined the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as Fourth/Utility Trumpet in 2002. He previously served as second trumpet in the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, and before that was Principal Trumpet of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra.

Larsen also held the Solo Cornet chair with the United States Marine Band, "The President's Own." He received his Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, and did graduate work at the Eastman School of Music, studying with Barbara Butler.

Mr. Larsen is a native of Cambridge, Massachsettes.
