Since 1980, Mr. Lester has been on the faculty of Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University teaching Double Bass performance and Orchestral Studies. Active in teaching, chamber music, and the orchestra, Mr. Lester also serves on the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Members Committee, which represents the musicians of the orchestra.
